FeedBlitz is a site that offers a great service! It lets people to subscribe to your blog and receive an email everytime you update you blog, all basing on your RSS. Let’s see how it works.

First of all go on FeedBlitz site and create an account (register). Just put your email and choose a password.

Once you created your personal account, it’s time to say to Feedblitz on which blog you’re intended to use this service. Just click on the link pointed by green arrow (see figure below).

Now you have to put the URL of your RSS feeds (or simply the URL of your blog) (1)and the title of the email that people will receive (2) that I called pannasmontata templates updates.

n.b. if you don’t know how to see your RSS URL you can simply write your blog URL in the form and Feedblitz will automatically tell you which kind of feeds are supported by your blog letting you decide which will be used. (see figure below).

Now you account in created and work correctly. Last step is to put the codes on your template. The central code (1) is the one which will create the subscription form to your blog. Copy and paste it on your template (for i.e. in the sidebar.) The second code (2) in the yellow box will create the Feedblitz banner, taht will show you how many people subscribed to your blog. Copy and paste it in you template.
